There are many possibilities of supporting your participation to the ESU, direct and indirect. In the following lines, we will present you the various funding possibilities that are offered to you. You are also strongly advised to inform yourselves about support for further education, qualification, specialisation, professionalisation available at your own universities or in your country (associations) in general.

EADH scholarships

The European Association of Digital Humanities (EADH) offers five scholarships of €500 each to partially offset registration and accommodation costs in Besançon. These scholarships will prioritize students with no or limited access to institutional funding. Applications can be submitted until May 31 using ConfTool. Selected applicants will receive a confirmation by the end of May.

Graduate School Translation scholarships

The University Marie and Louis Pasteur, through its Graduate School “Translation” dedicated to humanities, will be offering 10 scholarships to cover the registration fees. These scholarships will be dedicated to Master students coming from European universities (eligible countries: countries member of the EU as well as third countries associated to the Erasmus programme) or from African universities (eligible countries ). During their stay in Besançon, the selected students will have a general presentation of the Graduate School as well as a moment to discuss possible future collaborations and partnerships. Applicants, registered in master for the academic year 2025-2026 or having been awarded a master in 2024-2025, should add while applying through ConfTool a cover letter explaining the reasons of their application to this scholarship and what possible relations could be set up or are already existing between their university and Besançon. Deadline: 31 May 2026.

Stars EU European University Alliance

Applicants coming from universities from Stars EU, the alliance to which the university Marie and Louis Pasteur belongs with, namely, Hanze University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands), the University of La Laguna (Spain), Bragança Polytechnic University (Portugal), Hochschule Bremen University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Silesian University in Opava (Czechia), University West (Sweden), Cracow University of Technology (Poland) and Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës (Albania) may most probably get support from their own university. They are strongly advised to enquire about such support.
