There are many possibilities of supporting your participation to the ESU, direct and indirect. In the following lines, we will present you the various funding possibilities that are offered to you. You are also strongly advised to inform yourselves about support for further education, qualification, specialisation, professionalisation available at your own universities or in your country (associations) in general.

The DARIAH scholarships

Our partner DARIAH, the pan-European Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities, will offer 12 scholarships of 450 Euros each to cover the costs of applicants coming to Besançon. To apply to the scholarship, applicants will be asked to specify in a specific letter that they apply for the DARIAH scholarship and to explain how the scholarship will help them joining the ESU. You may refer to it also in your application letter.

Stars EU European University Alliance

Applicants coming from universities from Stars EU, the alliance to which the university Marie and Louis Pasteur belongs with, namely, Hanze University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands), the University of La Laguna (Spain), Bragança Polytechnic University (Portugal), Hochschule Bremen University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Silesian University in Opava (Czechia), University West (Sweden), Cracow University of Technology (Poland) and Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës (Albania) may most probably get support from their own university. They are strongly advised to enquire about such support.
